This November the Highams Park Pop-up Experience will be back for the third time. Thank you for all the wonderful feedback from the previous events!

This time I will be bringing classic dishes from the hottest Latin American countries to the chilly November nights: Venezuelan arepas, Cuban ropa vieja and my twist on a beloved Colombian dessert.

  • Arepas
    • Venezuelan style cornbread with marinated prawns and avocado
      Vegetarian option with mushrooms and roasted tomatoes
  • Pear Salad
    • Pears, candied walnuts and cranberries, rocket, shaved parmesan with aged balsamic vinagrette
  • Ropa Vieja
    • Classic cuban braised beef, served with caribbean rice ‘n’ beans
      Vegetarian option: Quinoa rissotto on roasted aubergine with winter vegetables
  • Suspiro de Maracuya
    • Light sponge soaked in passion fruit cream and Cointreau served with coconut tuiles and passion fruit coulis
